Apollo Tattoo Studio provides professional eyebrow piercing in Los Angeles performed by experienced piercers who specialize in facial piercings. Eyebrow piercings are a classic and versatile facial piercing that adds edge and personality—positioned along the brow ridge with a curved barbell for a clean, striking appearance.
Our Los Angeles eyebrow piercing service uses implant-grade titanium curved barbells and precise placement techniques tailored to your facial anatomy. We take careful measurements to ensure symmetrical positioning that flatters your unique features and minimizes the risk of migration or rejection.

We carefully measure and mark the piercing position to complement your facial structure, typically along the outer third of the brow ridge.
Too shallow and the piercing rejects quickly. Too deep and it risks hitting nerves. Our piercers find the optimal depth every time.
We use implant-grade titanium curved barbells that match your brow's natural curve, reducing pressure and migration risk.
Standard vertical, horizontal, anti-eyebrow, or double placements—we customize the style to your anatomy and preference.
Eyebrow piercings are surface piercings with rejection risk. We discuss realistic timelines, aftercare, and what to watch for during healing.
We tell you the truth about eyebrow piercings—healing takes 6-9 months and proper aftercare is essential for long-term success.

Common questions about eyebrow piercings in Los Angeles
Eyebrow piercings are relatively low on the pain scale—most people rate them 3-5 out of 10. The eyebrow area has thinner skin and fewer nerve endings than many other piercing locations. You'll feel a quick pinch and pressure, and the entire procedure takes just seconds. Some clients say the clamp pressure feels more intense than the needle itself.
Eyebrow piercings typically take 6-8 weeks for initial healing, with full healing completing around 3-4 months. During the healing period, you may experience mild swelling, redness, and some crusting around the jewelry. Avoid touching, rotating, or sleeping on the piercing during this time to promote proper healing.
Curved barbells are the standard and most common jewelry for eyebrow piercings. The curve matches the natural contour of the brow, reducing pressure and the risk of rejection. We use implant-grade titanium curved barbells for initial piercings. Once healed, you can switch to other materials like gold or choose decorative ends such as gems, spikes, or opals.
Eyebrow piercings are surface piercings, which means they carry a higher risk of rejection and migration compared to piercings through cartilage or thicker tissue. Proper placement depth, high-quality jewelry, and careful aftercare significantly reduce this risk. Signs of rejection include the bar becoming more visible under the skin, the holes moving closer together, or increased redness along the piercing channel.
At Apollo Studio, eyebrow piercings start at $75 for the piercing service. Jewelry is sold separately — we carry implant-grade titanium, gold, and premium options. We never compromise on jewelry quality—every piece meets or exceeds industry safety standards.
After your eyebrow piercing is fully healed (typically 3-4 months), you can change the jewelry yourself. Make sure your hands are clean, and unscrew one end of the curved barbell while holding the other end steady. If you have difficulty or feel any resistance, visit our studio and we'll swap it out for you at no charge. Never attempt to change jewelry during the healing period.
Avoid submerging your new eyebrow piercing in pools, oceans, lakes, and hot tubs for at least 6-8 weeks during the initial healing phase. These water sources contain bacteria and chemicals that can cause infection or irritation. After full healing, swimming is fine—just rinse the piercing with clean water afterward.
Signs of eyebrow piercing rejection include: the barbell becoming more visible through the skin, the entry and exit holes moving closer together, the skin between the holes looking thinner or more translucent, increased redness or soreness that doesn't improve, and the jewelry hanging or drooping differently than when first pierced. If you notice any of these signs, contact us immediately—early intervention can sometimes save the piercing.
All piercings leave some degree of scarring when removed. Eyebrow piercings typically leave small, faint marks that fade over time. The best way to minimize scarring is to remove the jewelry before rejection completes (if rejection occurs), keep the area clean during healing, and avoid unnecessary trauma to the piercing. Professional removal results in less scarring than letting a rejected piercing push out on its own.
